March 22nd, 2012 SNOW!!!

MARCH 13th...
Yeah, you're probably reading this thinking I got the date wrong...nope-You read right-we've got snow in mid March. Crazy, I know.

It was a little tough for Mom to help William build a snowman while carrying a super-bundled up little (big) brother. I did what I could, and we mustered up a pile of snow he called a "towman" (his way of saying snowman)-his first ever, I might add.

Here he is ever so faithfully piling snow...Max didn't help. All he wanted to do was pee on our "towman"

Here's Calvin...making a snow angel (o; The poor boy couldn't hardly move I had him bundled up so much.

I told him we'd have to wait for Dad to get home from work to build a "real" snowman...Needless to say, he was excited. Not that he knew what I was talking about in reference to a "real" snowman, just loved the thought of getting another chance to play in the snow!

The snow had melted quite a bit by the time Dad got home, but there was still enough to play...
So, here it is...The makings of a snowman (a "real" one):
First you have to learn the proper rolling technique

Then you have to get a dolly to haul the gigantic snowball to it's place (right in the front yard so William could see it from the inside out the window).

Then you have to flatten the top so that the other snow balls will sit on top.

William was loving this...It was actually starting to look like a snowman!

Insert arms...

Eyes...

Nose and a smile (o;

What snowman doesn't have hair?!

Tada!

MARCH 22nd...

And yes, it snowed again. This time, William and Dad went BIG!! And used a carrot for his nose instead of a rock (o;

Now seriously...As fun as this was, I'm ready for some sunshine.
