Feb. 10th, 2012 Up up and away?

I know it's not the best picture, but William LOVES balloons. I ordered him a Curious George mylar balloon that we got blown up with helium on our way to the coast for his birthday. He'll tell you that he can "fly" as he trails them around running and jumping off things with the balloons close behind him. When we left the coast to head home, he had the mylar balloon tied around his wrist. We made a stop at the store and I hadn't thought that the balloon might not be tied around his wrist any longer...Yeah, you can guess what happened... As Curious George floated up, up and away, William melted down in tears. Understandably so. Like I said, he LOVES balloons and this one was special. I quickly unbuckled him from his car seat and held him tightly there in the parking lot while he cried and reached in the air as if to think he could get it back. Feb. 8th, 2012 3 months and growing!

Calvin's already three months old!!! And to celebrate, his first dip in the pool... Look at my cutie in his swim trunks!! He was looking over at his cousin, who was getting ready to tickle his foot to get him to smile (o; The pool was warm-he loved it. And like pools do to little kids...he was plum tuckered out that evening. Big happenings for a three month old! Thanks for holding me Auntie Lori.

Feb. 7th, 2012 He's THREEEEE!

My big boy turned three today...I have to just take a moment to sit and reminisce over the past three years. The days pass all too quickly. Oh the many laughs we've had with our William boy! Here's a picture peek into the past... February 7th, 2009...The day that changed our lives forever. The big ONE! Turning TWO! My handsome, adorable, fun loving THREE year old! And now for the big three year old's birthday festivities... We were fortunate this year. Grandma Marsha had booked a week at The Inn at Otter Crest in Otter Rock. William's birthday landed during this week, so we planned to head to the coast to celebrate! Uncle Cory, Aunt Lori and the cousins were there as well, which made for an extra special stay.
