Happy First Birthday Calvin!

It starts days before...all the birthday prep that is.
William was very in to helping me make Calvin's birthday sign (I had made one for William that I have taken out for each of his birthdays...Had to do the same for Mr. C).

If it involves getting to use scissors, he's in!

Spelling 'Birthday'...

He's realizing as I take this picture that he has extra letters...But, none the less, he's pretty proud of his final product and wants me to glue it down (o;
And then...the final product on party day...
And then came party time...

Reading Grandpa Terry's train book with Shane and Kennedy
Hangin' with Uncle Cory
Time for PRESENTS!  Calvin had a little help from his brother and cousins (o;

Thank you Grandpa Terry and Grandma 'Retta for my new gloves!

Chugga, Chugga, Choo, Choo!
It's time to eat CAKE!

He didn't even skip a beat...If it's on his tray and looks edible, he'll go for it!  Headed for a sugar OVERLOAD!

Even though the three of them aren't looking at the camera, this is the only one I got with both boys wearing their hats (o;  Thank you Grandpa Terry for bringing all of your railroad memorabilia (including your coveralls) from your working days to the Calvin's party!  You made it extra special.
;
 After the party, I cleared all the food from the island and the boys had fun playing with the wooden railroad set that had been intertwined amongst the food.
And then, just like big brother William did on his first birthday, our tuckered out birthday boy fell asleep in Auntie Lori's arms (o;  She's got the touch!
Here's William on his first birthday...

Calvin, we love you and look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you!

I'm officially a toddler Mom!
