I created this blog specifically with Mom & Dad in mind. Even though they can't be here in Oregon to enjoy their grandchildren, I thought this would be one way to help keep them in touch. I am also glad it can be used to keep all of my friends and family in touch as well!
Sept. 10th, 2011 The bed modification...and lovin' it!
One night while I was brushing William's teeth, Daddy quickly went into his bedroom and put his pop up tent on one end of his bed. You should have seen the surprised look on William's face when we told him to go get in bed and he got to crawl inside his tent to do so! Bus and Donna, this one's for you (o: Little did you know that the gift you gave him would turn into the exact spot he sleeps each night. He makes Mommy, baby brother and Daddy climb in each night to sing happy songs, read books, say prayers and kiss him goodnight. It was so good to finally meet little Dalen Charpie (6 wks old). Who would've thought, as friends in high school, that we would stay in touch and have little boys so close in age? Thanks for stopping by to visit Charissa (o:
Slow. Down. Time.
The Kindergarten milestone is upon us.
Calvin was soooo fortunate to have Mrs. Vey and Mrs. Starkey as his teachers. They're incredible. Not only do they have a passion for teaching, they have a passion for the Lord and it shows what they teach as well as how they interact with the kids.
Next school year, we're moving onto the big grades!
There's just some things in life that make you feel like such a big kid. And this one does that for William. He' grown into such a responsible little guy. Can't quite reach the peddles very well, but he figures it out and does a great job! I don't think you could trust many 8yr olds on a mower this large.
