Nearing our Move Day!

The continuation of my email thread to all of those who are lifting us up in prayer.  We are so thankful for each and every prayer that's been lifted up!

Thank you all for praying!  It’s been quite a whirlwind around here...

*We signed and closed on our house yesterday!

*Monday at 10a is our scheduled inspection for our Idaho house.

*Monday morning we pick up the moving truck to pack it up.

*Monday evening we meet with our buyers to walk throughout our property and talk more about what we’ve done to upkeep it and discuss things we’re leaving behind.

*Monday night we take the moving truck to Molalla where we will be living with Curtis’ mom and step dad until we head to Idaho.

*Tuesday morning we head to Idaho with the moving truck to empty into into a rented storage unit.

*Wednesday morning we head back to Oregon!

We ask for continued prayers for the following things:
(1) That the rest of the process of moving is covered in grace as these days of packing are long days and we’re all tired.
(2) That the inspection of our new home would come back clear of anything major.
(3) That God’s hand of protection would be over our trips to and from Idaho as we transition there.
(4) That we would continue to be still enough to recognize the moments of God’s presence throughout this whole process.

The hedge of protection you’ve provided our family as you’ve bathed us in prayer has been amazing.  We thank you for continuing to think of us.

Now back to packing boxes…

The hole William has been working on since we moved here 3yrs ago, we finally had to fill in.  He's hand dug it all and provided himself many hrs of entertainment in the meantime.  It's served as a hide out, a pool, a mud pit and many more things with his (and Calvin's) crazy imaginations.

One of the MANY trips in a moving van.
Calvin didn't mind at all being left behind at Grandma's
