The Growing Gant Family...

  These are always so fun to look back on.  It makes me smile when I read about what my boys love and how that changes as they grow.  Capturing this moment for sure...(Note: we've never lived in Stayton, but I guess we're close enough that Calvin thought we did!)

 These boys are growing up!   Every new school year reminds me of just how quickly time flies.  I always feel like we just took first day of school pictures and then, here we are again.  So proud of these two.  They are thriving at Cascade View and look forward to having Mrs. Cecil and Mrs. Rasmussen this year.

 One of the perks of having a Dad that works at the fire station is getting to take your friends on tours (o;  We made a day of it and took the Desseiux kids to OMSI and then over to Station 21 where Curtis was working.  He even let them all pilot the fireboat!  Fun day filled with memories with great friends.   Karley, Josiah, William, Calvin & Malachi... Karley can her own in this group of boys!

Where.did.summer.go?! And then it was September and these boys were actually excited to head back to school this year.  Makes it a whole lot easier when there's no tears at drop off (o;  Cascade View officially opened the doors on their new building for this school year of which meant William got to enjoy a brand new classroom.  Pretty exciting stuff.  He also originally thought he was going to be with a completely different teacher and due to enrollment, he switched teachers and classrooms.  He's getting to know some 5th grade kids that are new to the school as well as the 4th graders since he's in a 4th/5th blend with Mrs. Cecil. There's a new computer room in the new building and William's looking forward to learning how to officially handle a computer keyboard.  There's also been talk about a Robotics Club this year which has definitely piqued his interest.  Lot's of exciting stuff this year for William! Calvin jumps right into a new classroom ...
